Busy busy momma

So sorry, I haven't posted in awhile. I've been so busy with Kyler's birthday and school, valentines day and everything else life brings.

I promise to post up pictures from Kyler's birthday soon.

In good news, because of all the snow to recently hit, I've had the last two days off from school to top my three day weekend. So I should have a good post up by Tuesday.

These Boots Are NOT Made For Walking...

Since I had Kyler, jeans have become a troublesome thing to buy. If they fit around the waist they are generally too long for my short legs, so skinny jeans are a great (and fashionable) alternative when I am having a bad shopping day and need new jeans. So today I wore a cute pair of skinny jeans I recently purchased and a pair of shin high ankle boots that are lined with fur and have the hooks to lace them from the ankle up. Since even skinny's end up a lil too long, they end up bunching up, with the boots I wore with them I only laced them to the ankles, wearing the open top part of the boots over my jeans. Throughout the day I continually got each boot hung up on the other. The laces would get caught in the hooks of the boots. I almost took a really bad fall in front of many other students and a few customers on the floor, I managed to catch my balance though. I made it through the day luckily with no embarrassing falls. I get home and as I'm walking around my car to head to the front door is when it finally happened. I fell face first strait onto the ground. My bag and purse on either side of me. These damned boots! Being that it's freezing outside and it snowed yesterday, the ground did not make a nice soft spot to land and my poor boots need new laces now.

Who are these people??

With this being post #2, let's get into some deep stuff...

Me

My name is Emily. I am a 22 year old (but feel so much older then this) cosmetology student 40 hours a week, The other 128 hours I feed the baby, cook dinner, do homework, read about new beauty trends, change diapers, spend time with the fiancee, plan our June 2014 wedding, play taxi cab, dance, laundry, and now this blog . I am in no way a perfect mom. My house is not clean 100% of the time, we do our best to keep up, our son does his best to make a mess right after we clean. :)

Kyle and I
The Ring
Kyle is my fiancee. He recently proposed to me on Christmas 2012. It was an ever so sweet moment with our son and him handing me a teddy bear with a lil backpack on its back which contained a little box which was yes a ring box but contained a "I am Loved" pin inside. As I began to put the bear next to me I then caught notice of the ring being held by Kyle who's arm was wrapped around me. As I put it on he then asked me " Well are you going to answer my question?" I replied with "what question, you didn't ask me anything..." That then was when he asked me to marry him.

Kyler and The Whale
Kyler and Momma
Our son's name is Kyler Mason. He' is the most adorable boy in the world. He likes to dance and has the cutest laugh. He turns one on February 6th. Kyler hasn't started walking yet but has began to stand on his own. He's got six very sharp teeth and the cutest grin. His favorite things to do is take all the clean laundry out of the laundry basket and throw it all over the floor, climb on things he shouldn't, hit the power off button on the surround sound receiver or all the buttons we don't want him pushing on the remote controls, he loves to dance and talk, and laugh. He also really seems to enjoy the lil ball pit we got him for Christmas and his motorcycle even though he can't push himself on it yet (he sits on it and pushes the buttons and headbangs/dances to the music).

First Post

Testing... Is this thing on?
Okay... well if you can read me, I guess we are all good. Still trying to make this blog thingy all pretty like and the way I imagined my blog would look in my head when I decided to make a blog... When all that is done I'll make a real first post which may or may not be worth reading.

As always,
Emily
